About Us

Building and scaling a company can be grueling, overwhelming and lonely. From 2013 to 2018, startup leader Molly Graham was part of a tight community of COOs at startups and scaling companies. It became such a valuable experience in her career that in 2022, she launched the Glue Club — bringing startup leaders together to learn from each other. The experiment has grown into a powerful community — a home base where the strongest startup leaders in the world find sanity, opportunity, and growth amidst the chaos of building a company.

Meet the Glue Club Team

  • Alice Hehman

I have led Operations, People & Recruiting teams for the past 15+ years. Prior to my work with Glue Club, I was COO at Quip, where I worked on Quip’s acquisition and operational integration with Salesforce. Earlier in my career, I had the good fortune of spending 7 years at Facebook building the U.S. business and operations recruiting function and establishing Facebook’s presence across APAC.

My career has included time at Wonderschool, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and Summit Learning. Prior to joining the Glue Club team, I was working as an independent consultant, partnering with clients like Meta (business operations), The New Teacher Project (strategy and business operations), and AKKO (sales). I am also a first-time founder currently in the process of opening an elevated social club for little ones and their grownups in the Atlanta area.

I hold an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford, as well as an AB in Psychology from Harvard College. I live in the Atlanta Area with my husband and two children.

I have been the COO/Head of Operations for multiple organizations, including the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Quip (acquired by Salesforce), and Lambda School. I have also served as a board member, an advisor or interim exec at a wide variety of startups focused in fintech, climate, education, healthcare and Web3. Early in my career, I spent five years at Facebook doing things like developing their long-term mobile strategy and building its early People philosophy and systems.

  • Tracey Baumwell

My primary experience comes from time spent building and running People & Ops teams in various media and tech companies; including SocialCode, Slate, NPR & The Washington Post. I snagged my coaching certification while working so that I could apply it in how I lead. I now own my own facilitation and coaching business where I spend the bulk of my time injecting humor and practicality into how we learn from the everyday blunders we encounter.
